This smaller sized vintage Azilal carpet resembles a painting. An assembly of Berber motifs are knotted across a field of natural ivory wool. A small border in sea green is framed with bordeaux color balancing the male and female symbolism with small diamond and ladder patterns. An artful piece that will add sophistication to any space. With wool and cotton in the warp for strengthening. This is very common with the Azilal weavings. The carpet is in a very good condition.
