Description
Sublime older vintage Beni Ouarain carpet with soft and lustrous wool quality. The carpet is densely knotted with a ground in natural warm ivory and patterned in tones of black, charcoal and brown. The composition displays a slightly irregular network of small single lined female lozenges rimmed with striping borders. The darker pile of the patterns is shorter and vaguely glimpses through the higher pile. Gorgeous finishing with a flatweave band holding checkered tufting in taupe, ivory, pale henna and mustard yellow. Medium to lofty pile and 100% wool. The carpet is in a very good condition.
