Description
A fabulous contemporary Beni Ouarain carpet with sublime luminous wool quality and authentic double knot. Constructed with a field in natural warm ivory and patterned in dark chocolate brown. The composition features a modern variant of the male and female Berber symbolism showing an abstract network of meandering female lozenges flanked by ladder patterned borders indicating male protection. Newly hand-knotted with first quality wool and excellent quality weaving. Very nicely finished with long twirled tassels on one end. Luxuriously soft and dense under foot! Medium pile, 100% wool. The carpet is in excellent condition.
