Description
Exquisite ‘beldi’ Beni Ouarain carpet with an incredible dense pile construction in natural cream wool. Different from the typical neutral wool used on the weavings of this tribe the weaver has chosen to blend pile dyed with henna lending the carpet a subtle pale oat colored glow. The composition shows a network of smaller sized female lozenges with minor irregularities at both ends edged with thick double side borders in charcoal and dark brown. Very nicely finished with plaited tassels. Full wool with high pile. The carpet is in a very good condition.
