Description
Gorgeous example of a vintage Boujad carpet created for a smaller space. With an abrashed field in a vibrant palette of magenta, coral and violet. A silent Berber story told by the weaver with various motifs including a large central female lozenge, flowers and a few tea pots. Patterns are colored in warm orange, ivory, coral, soft pink and a few pops of dark emerald green and indigo blue. Charcoal is skilfully used to accentuate the patterns. Low to medium pile and all wool. The carpet is in a very good condition.
