A vintage Rehamna carpet featuring a field in crimson red leaving a frame of the weft devoid of pile showing subtle saw tooth borders. The Berber motifs seem thoughtfully placed creating symmetry. Lovely detail is a small area showing sprinkles of faded plum colored pile running horizontally across the field. Constructed with 100% wool and goat hair. Very nicely finished with braided tassels on both ends. The carpet is well preserved and in a very good condition.
