Description
Vintage Boucherouite carpet from the Rehamna region showing a field loosely knotted with red wool fibers. The minimal composition shows a large central string of female lozenges in charcoal, orange, with a hint of jade green and more unusual violet color. Bordered with dark fibers accentuated with violet tufting. Nicely finished with a flatweave band on both ends and fringes. The carpet is in a very good condition.
