Description
A superb vintage Beni Mguild carpet featuring a complex network of female lozenges on a ground in abrashed magenta, coral and salmon pink. The intricate patterns are knotted in silver grey and ivory with an abrupt shift to indigo blue creating a bold contrast. With thick double sided borders in charcoal. Very nicely finished with a small flatweave band and long braided tassels. Medium pile, very dense with 100% wool. The carpet is well preserved and in a very good condition.
