Description
This superb vintage Boujad carpet exhibits a field in abrashed reds with a little pomegranate and burgundy in the mix. The composition narrates a Berber tale with strings of vertical female lozenges varying in scale and shape. Motifs are harmoniously colored in silver grey, charcoal and burned orange. The abstract lines in ivory create a sense of movement across the composition. Medium pile with all soft wool quality. The carpet is in a very good condition.
