Description
A beautiful vintage carpet from the Zayane region with motifs showing cross border influences. The carpet is densely knotted with a field in a palette in abrashed shades of deep orange with a hint of terra and deep plum. The extraordinary detailed composition shows an entanglement of very intricate motifs narrating a complex Berber tale. Edged with double sided borders in contrasting charcoal and nicely finished with braided tassels. In a very unusual almost square size. The carpet is well preserved and in a very good condition.
