Description
This painterly older vintage Boujad carpet tells a colorful Berber tale featuring three little camels surrounded by more primitive motifs alternated with urban influences. The emphasis of this stunning piece is on its vibrant coloring which is well preserved. This carpet was possibly kept as a family treasure neatly folded in a trunk or comparable storage place. There are minor signs of age wear at the fringes which does not distract from the beauty of this unique piece. Low to medium pile and 100% wool. The carpet is in a very good condition.
