Description
A rare vintage Marmoucha carpet with a dense pile construction in a fiery blend of orange, red, faded apricot and golden yellow. The composition displays diffuse and very intricately knotted motifs in a lower pile with hints of sage and deep purple. Very soft and luminous wool quality. Medium pile and 100% wool. There is some loss of fringes which does not distract from the beauty of this original piece. The carpet is in a very good condition.
