Description
Striking vintage Talsint flatweave (hanbel) from the Aït Bou Ichaouen tribe with two weaving techniques. The flatwoven surface shows shifting shades of terra red with charcoal and pale sea green striping. Decorated in pile construction with horizontal zigzag patterns alternated with rows of abstract and slightly distorted lozenges in matching colors and bright pops of red, warm yellow and hot pink. The carpet is all wool and in a very good condition.
