Description
Beautifully detailed Zayane kilim with cactus silk tufting and tiny metal sequins typically used in the 1960’s/1970’s. This vintage piece shows a field in faded plum adorned with horizontal bands holding intricate Berber motifs showing a variety of female lozenges and chevron patterns divided into sections by repeated horizontal striping in deep charcoal, warm orange, olive and ivory. The carpet is in a very good condition.
