Exceptional vintage Azilal carpet woven in a very generous size. Refined lines in charcoal and carmine red float across the composition creating a network of abstract female lozenges. With understated color accents in red, yellow, green and blue. The story line is divided in four separate sections with subtle horizontal lines. Several lozenges hold an undefinable symbol concealing personal expressions of the weaver. Nicely framed with natural brown wool. Finished with a large flatweave band on both ends and thick plaited tassels. The carpet is in a very good condition.
