Description
Vintage Azilal carpet with a tribal spirit. Loosely knotted with a field in natural ivory with here and there subtle color accents from the warp glimpsing through. The composition shows abstract lines in dark brown and a hint of carmine red. Very nicely finished with a flatweave band and plaited tassels. Low pile, all wool with cotton in the warp for strengthening which is very common on the weavings from the Azilal region. This piece is also very suitable for use as wall hanging. The carpet is in a very good condition.
