Description
Moderately large sized vintage Beni Ouarain carpet with soft wool quality. Densely knotted with a background in tones of ivory and cream. The composition knotted in charcoal and brown, displays a slightly irregular network of double lined lozenges holding smaller diamond motifs. The outer part of the network shows several broken lozenges flanked with male ladder patterned borders. Nicely finished with subtle dark selvedges and a flatweave band on both ends. Medium to slightly lofty pile, 100% soft wool. Feels lovely soft under foot! The carpet is in a very good condition.
