Description
A more unusual older vintage Beni Ouarain carpet with a tribal spirit. This unique carpet displays and overall female lozenge pattern with a short interruption as the story begins. The lozenges are filled with a variety of Berber symbols repeated horizontally. A vertical string of zigzags runs along both selvedges. Densely knotted with a field in natural ivory to light beige and patterned in charcoal, brown, taupe and carmine red. Very nicely finished with a flatweave band and tassels on both ends. Medium pile and 100% soft wool quality.
