Description
Vintage Beni Ouarain carpet exhibiting old school weaving and soft wool quality. Very densely hand-knotted with a background in natural ivory and subtle tones of cream. The composition shows a beautiful classic network of double lined female lozenges holding a chain of intricate smaller diamond motifs in black and charcoal. Framed with dark and thick double sided borders nicely contrasting the ivory wool. Finished with a flatweave band dyed in deep red covered with checkered tufting and long twirled fringes. Medium pile and 100% wool. Feels dense and soft under foot. The carpet is in a very good condition.
