Description
This vintage Beni Ouarain carpet is a beautiful example of old school weaving. Very densely knotted with a soft and luminous wool quality. The composition exhibits a network of lozenges constructed with intricate little triangle motifs in dark brown and henna orange layered over a ground of natural ivory with a creamy glow. The weaver has added a personal note with a handful of small symbols. With thick double sided borders and lovely checkered tufting at the finishing. All wool with a low to medium pile. The carpet is in a very good condition.
