If sunlight could be knotted! Exquisite vintage Beni Mtir carpet with lustrous wool quality and a golden glow. Densely knotted with a field in yellow and time faded magenta. The composition shows chevrons created by repeated intricate motifs in ivory, indigo, black and a hint of pale coral. A radiant work of art! With selvedges in dark brown and nicely finished with a flatweave band and short fringes. Medium pile construction and 100% soft wool. This carpet is very well preserved and in a good condition.
