Description
Impressive vintage Moroccan wedding blanket handloomed with a field in natural cream wool and ivory cotton striping. The blanket is embellished with gorgeous horizontal kilim patterned bands with intricate patterns displaying Berber motifs in dark red, ivory and subtle color accents of yellow and green. With thick bushy bands tufted in ivory holding small clusters of jingly sequins. More shiny metal sparklers are attached along the kilim bands and clustered on long loops across the field. Very nicely finished with fringes on both ends. The blanket is in a very good condition.
