Description
This vintage Moroccan wedding blanket is woven in a very generous size. Hand-loomed with a field in light beige and ivory striping. The decoration shows a more unusual combination of light pink and pale blue tufting creating a network of smaller lozenges. Countless shiny metal sequins are attached on long loops lending a sweet jingly sound when the blanket is lifted. With cotton and wool fibers. Very nicely finished with long fringes. The blanket is in a very good condition.
Moroccan wedding blankets are incredibly decorative and can be used as bed or sofa cover. A wedding blanket is also very suitable for use as carpet or wall decor.
