Vintage Talsint Rug / 307 x 157 cm
This vintage rug from the Aït Bou Ichaouen tribe features a richly abrashed field in gently faded burnt red, with tonal shifts that occasionally drift into a dark orange glow. A delicate network of lozenges stretches across the surface, each one unique in form and proportion, housing smaller diamond motifs that lend rhythm and fluidity to the composition.
The patterns are rendered in deep charcoal with finely dotted outlines in ivory, subtly illuminating the design and adding a quiet depth. Framed with dark borders and completed with flatweave bands and contrasting ivory twirled fringes, this rug embodies tribal refinement with an organic, lived-in beauty.
Soft underfoot with a medium pile and entirely wool, this piece carries both soul and structure, making it a timeless addition to any interior.
