A bold and warm vintage rug from the Zayane region, this piece is defined by its rich magenta field, a vibrant backdrop for a composition rooted in symmetry and symbolism. Motifs are brought to life in warm orange, charcoal, ivory, and a whisper of faded sage, creating a harmonious visual rhythm.

The central design features a structured network of enclosed lozenges, each containing smaller forms such as X-shapes and clustered triangles. This central field is elegantly framed with patterned borders composed of repeating chevron and triangular motifs, reinforcing the sense of continuity and balance throughout the piece.

Densely knotted in soft wool with a low to medium pile, the rug is finished with short flatweave bands at both ends and bordered by natural brown selvedges. A grounded yet radiant textile, full of tradition and expression.
