Description
A beautiful vintage Azilal carpet knotted with a field in natural ivory. The very detailed composition tells a Berber story embracing the indigenous culture and Islamic influences. Some patterns are broken as the story line shifts into a different theme. Patterns in charcoal and burned orange with pops of faded ice blue. Very soft wool quality and densely knotted showing a low to medium pile construction. Very nicely finished with a flatweave band on both sides and braided tassels. The carpet is in a very good condition.
