Description
An exquisite one of a kind vintage Beni Ouarain carpet. The composition appears capricious at first glance, unrevealing a second story line hidden in the network of lozenges. The motifs are harmoniously shifting in scale and shape creating a sense of movement. The weaver has knotted the patterns in double lines using black and charcoal dyed wool. With a field of soft natural wool in light ivory. Nicely finished with tassels on both ends. The carpet is well preserved and in a very good condition.
