Description
More unusual vintage Zayane carpet. The carpet is densely knotted with a field in shifting shades of charcoal and natural undyed brown wool. Adorned with flower patterns, a handful of eight pointed stars and arrows in contrasting cornflower blue, magenta, faded jade green and orange. The male ladder borders are knotted in magenta highlighted with ivory lining. Very nicely finished with a flatweave band holding colorful tufting and braided tassels. Low to medium pile, all wool. The carpet is in very good condition with areas showing minor age wear enhancing the vintage spirit of this beautiful piece!
