Description
This beautiful vintage Talsint flatweave from the Aït Bou Ichaouen tribe is constructed with two weaving techniques showing a background in abrashed shades of magenta and silver grey striping. The abstract composition displays an irregular network of female lozenges shifting in shape, scale and color as if floating. With magenta, silver grey and contrasting warm orange, ivory and charcoal pile. Nicely finished with long ivory twirled fringes. The carpet is in a very good condition.
