A woolen serenity indeed, this vintage Beni Ouarain invites with its plush, soft field of natural ivory wool. Quietly composed yet full of presence, a delicate network of smaller lozenges drifts across the surface in deep charcoal, each formed by double-lined dots that subtly break through the lighter pile, adding rhythm and depth.
The entire composition runs uninterrupted from beginning to end, like a continuous thought gently spoken. Along the sides, black-and-white borders remain modestly hidden on the backside, a beautiful, private detail. Finishing touches include a black-and-white braided lining and long, braided tassels that complete the piece with care.
This is a rug of quiet strength, calming, tactile, and full of texture.
